COLLEGE APPLICATIONS We are processing a lot of forms at this time of year. Please turn your applications in to the Guidance Office one week before they are due to give the counselors time to fill them out BEFORE your deadlines.
STUDENT AID ON THE WEB www.studentaid.ed.gov the internet's premiere destination for information on planning and paying for education beyond high school. Offers families a single source of free information on choosing a career, selecting a school, and identifying resources to pay for higher education.

NOTE: When turning completed scholarship applications in to the Guidance Office all parts (including recommendations) must be submitted by the DEADLINE IN GUIDANCE, not the deadline on the applications. Please give reference writers sufficient time (at least a week to write your recommendations.
Attention Scholarship Award Recipients: Please submit your name, your parent's name, the name and amount of scholarship to the guidance office for recognition in the Tribune Chronicle. If the scholarship(s) total $500 or more the Tribune will also print a photograph.
Also all universities and colleges offer their own honors/academic achievement scholarships. If you have an ACT/SAT of at least 24/1140, are in the top 20% of the class, and have a good GPA, you should check into the university programs of the school where you have applied.
